Junior Ranger Program.
Positioning, Print Advertisement, Collateral
Give a child a task and reward them for a job well done. In an effort to persuade forest-goers to help maintain the Hoosier National Forest, I repositioned the current educational program called the Leave No Trace Program, by renaming the program the “Junior Ranger Program” to be aimed at elementary school students. Flyers were made to be distributed in schools communicating the need for a new ranger, in hopes to give students the idea that they had a role to fill. Junior Ranger Handbooks were created to better convey necessary information in a way that children could understand. A Junior Ranger Badge System was created to help motivate children to participate in maintaining the Hoosier National Forest. Lastly, a bag tag with a map of the Charles C. Deam Wilderness area was created to be distributed to forest-goers.
